Duties

Help
  • Collection of fees, process customer orders, work area cleanliness, assist cooks in daily tasks, inventory control procedures.
  • Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40lb, Requires constant standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching.
  • Able to work alone. Know simple food handling techniques.
  • Able to use simple arithmetic.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
  • A one year probationary period may be required
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually
  • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Physical and health assessment is required

Qualifications

1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory

FWS Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
